My pool had been leaking for weeks, my pool service company had done several tests to the pool and just couldn't find it.  They referred us to a couple leak detection companies, but I remember my neighbor telling me about what a great company American Leak Detection was and what a great job they did for a pool leak she had and a house leak.  I called them right away once my pool service company couldn't find it, they came out the next day, found the leak, fixed the leak and warranted it.  And now I've been leak free ever since.  I will never use another leak detection company.  They were professional, honest (no hidden fees) and did a wonderful job.  Thank you American Leak Detection.

Member Comments: I had ALD leak test my pool. My end to end experience, from scheduling through repair was excellent. I originally contracted ALD for leak detection only. They discovered several cracks in my skimmer and recommended replacement. The tech placed a temporary patch which held for a little more than a month and I took the opportunity to get competitive quotes for the replacement. I selected ALD to complete the work based on my very positive experience with the leak detection. Their quote was very much in line with others and they even provided a follow up visit. I am very confident in their ability to service my pool and I highly recommend ALD

Description of Work: I phoned American Leak Detection on January 9, 2012 as I noticed the water level in my pool was low and needed to be filled with water too often. I left a message on the answering machine and within minutes, Jennie returned my phone call. She and I discussed the leakage in my pool and she scheduled an appointment for a technician to come to the house to check the pool. She explained in detail what the cost would be, and what the technician would be doing to check for leaks in the pool. Jennie was very thorough and professional in explaining all that would be done by the technician when he arrived.

Member Comments: The technician, Dave, arrived at the house on time. He spent well over an hour performing a complete leak detection. He went into the pool (even though temps were rather cold) and did a thorough check of the pool. He inspected the skimmer, drain, light, tiles and collars. He pressure tested all suction and return lines. Afterwards, Dave explained to me that he found a rather large leak around the mouth of the skimmer. He patched the entire mouth of the skimmer with epoxy.
day or so later, I noticed the pool level was still somewhat low. I phoned American Leak Detection and Jennie scheduled an appointment for Dave to return to re-check the pool. Dave arrived on time and he re-checked the entire pool. He found a leak under the lip of the drain and patched the leak with epoxy. Dave also detected a small leak at the pump. He said that the pump needed a new O ring.

It has been a week and the pool appears to be at the correct water level. I am pleased with Jennie and Dave and I would definitely recommend American Leak Detection for pool leaks.
