About US
American Leak Detection came to Jacksonville, FL in 1991. In 1995 the franchise rights were sold to Chris Phillips, the current owner.
Chris has an MBA from the University of Utah and has passed the CPA exam. After a twenty year career in the banking industry, Chris changed direction and purchased the Jasksonville franchise. He holds Florida State licenses in plumbing and swimming pool servicing and repairs.
Steve Zentner has been with American Leak Detection as a leak technician since 2003. Prior to coming to American Leak Detection, Steve had over ten years of experince in the swimming pool industry as a pool servicer and as a leak technicain. He holds several certifications for servicing and repairing pool equipment,
Denny Tait, leak techinican, was born and raised in Michigan. He has worked in retail sales and property manaagement as a maintenance supervisor and manager. In addition he is an experienced plumber. He has been with American Leak Detection since 2004.
Janet Gilbert is the Office Manager and has been with American Leak Detection since 2001. After a career as a wife and mother, Janet began a career in customer service for service companies for eight years before joining us.
