American Leak Detection named “Military Friendly Franchise” and “Military Spouse Friendly Employer”

“Working in the military requires the ability to follow a system in order for success – a characteristic that also applies to the franchise industry.”- thefranchisehound.com

American Leak Detection is a service business that is ideal for both employment opportunities and franchise ownership for military personnel transitioning out of the armed services.

Regarding employment opportunities, Michelle Hoglund, American Leak Detection Director of Human Resources says, “Our franchisees are looking for qualified candidates for both technical and office positions.  I frequently get calls from franchisees asking for help locating the best candidates, and I always recommend looking for candidates who are transitioning out of the military.”

For the past three years, G.I. Jobs has published a list naming the top seven percent of franchises that do the most to recruit America’s veterans. Their list once again named American Leak Detection as a 2011 Military Friendly Franchise. Also, Military.com recently included ALD in a list of corporations they determined are “Military spouse friendly employers.”

“Many of our franchisees have been in the military and the training they received makes them great candidates for franchise ownership,” says Judy Howard, director of franchise relations at ALD. “Our concept is affordable and we offer a discount to honorably discharged military veterans when they join our team.”

The American Leak Detection corporate office is proud to participate in the International Franchise Association’s VetFran Program where a $5,000 discount is offered on the initial franchise fee. This fee ranges from $29,500 to $80,000 and is available to all honorably-discharged veterans.
