Local Entrepreneurs Receives Teams to Watch in 2010 Award at American Leak Detection Conference

Santa Fe, NM (Grassroots Newswire) April 14, 2010 – John and Michelle Seaver, owners of American Leak Detection Serving New Mexico, recently received the Teams to Watch in 2010 award during the company’s annual conference. Teams to Watch are teams that are well on their way to future successes and are constantly improving and evolving their business. American Leak Detection’s annual conference took place March 24th – 27th at the Miramonte Spa & Resort in Indian Wells, California. During the four-day event, several franchisees were honored for their milestones during a special awards ceremony.

Communication and stress management expert Mary Marcdante spoke about how enthusiasm is the core to great leadership. And, Nancy Friedman, known as the “Telephone Doctor,” held a seminar designed to help owners communicate better with customers.

American Leak Detection Franchisees Honored for Excellence by International Franchise Association

Franchisee of the Year Award presented to Sean and Christian Macaulay

Named Franchisee of the Year by the International Franchise Association


WASHINGTON, D.C., Sept. 15 – American Leak Detection franchisees Hillel Salomon and Howard Katz of Berkeley, Calif. were honored today by the International Franchise Association (IFA) with its Franchisee of the Year Award. Franchise owner-operators representing nearly 50 franchise systems were recognized today during the IFA’s Ninth Annual Franchise Appreciation Day here for their outstanding performance and the contributions they have made to enhance the growth and development of franchising.

As the association’s public affairs conference, Franchise Appreciation Day is a two-day event which began today and continues through Sept. 16. Attendees are meeting with members of Congress and Administration officials about issues important to franchising, including small-business health plans, immigration reform, business activity taxes and wages.
