Description of Work: We suspected a leak in our pool and American Leak Detection came out, confirmed, and located it. They also shut off the pumps that were leaking.
Member Comments: We were referred to American Leak Detection. They promptly returned our calls and scheduled a date and time to come. The day there were scheduled, it rained, and a rep from their company called before they were due and notified us that they would have to reschedule, because they would be unable to guarantee finding the leak while it rained. They rescheduled for a day or two later, arrived promptly, and got to work. The driver checked all of the seals and whatever else he needed to.
Although I've since forgotten all of the details, American Leak Detection did explain everything to us in detail, every step of the way. They found and isolated the leak, and told us that our current pool company could fix it.
American Leak Detection was thorough, professional, prompt, and great at communication. We will definitely call them first if the need arises.

Description of Work: They came out one day and determined where the leak was and gave us the estimate for repairs. On the second trip, they removed a section of the concrete around the pool, dug down to the pipe that was leaking and repaired it. We waited a few days to ensure the leak was repaired then filled in the hole and repaired the concrete ourselves. They were prompt, accurate, and overall did an excellent job. The actual cost was less than the estimate because we did some of the work ourselves. Greatly appreciated was the fact that they actually cleaned up after themselves - we did not have to clean up anything when they left.
Member Comments: When we discovered that our swimming pool was leaking, we searched for a repair company on Angie's List. At the same time, we contacted a swimming pool installer for suggestions, and both Angie's List and the swimming pool contractor said to contact American Leak Detection. When we contacted them, they made an appointment to come out immediately. They found the leak, gave us an estimate, and scheduled two days to do the repairs. The called to see if they could come earlier, which was great - and only took one day because we were able to fill in the hold and repair the concrete ourselves.
Thus, the job was completed earlier than expected and under the estimate they gave us. Since that time, we have also found that a friend who is a building project manager also uses this company for leak repairs.

Our vinyl Pool has been loosing approx. 1" of water per day. American Leak Detection quickly responded to my call and came out and checked all my pipes and the liner of the pool, they found Holes in the liner, which they repaired. American Leak detection was punctual, polite and easy to communicate with. If you have a pool with a leak these are the people to call.

Description of Work: We determined that we had a leak in the pool because we were adding approximately 2 inches of water to an 18x36 vinyl pool everyday. We called American Leak Detection and they arrived to investigate the leak the same day. During there inspection they identified 5 tears in the vinyl and patched the leaks for a cost of $475 (includes leak detection) that day. These leaks were all minor. They also discoved that we had a crack in the pipe leading from the pool to the pump. They returned the very next day to repair the pipe for a total of $1400. This required them to remove a small piece of concrete from the area around the pool, dig until the leaking pipe was visible, replace the pipe and patch the concrete. They did all of this in one day and cleaned up the area around them when complete....I actually think it was cleaner after they left than when they arrived. It has been over a week since they left and we have not had to add any water to the pool and it has remained at the same level. I will definately use them again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone.
