Sewer Odor Testing

This time of year it is common to notice sewer odor smells in homes and commercial buildings. When the temperature gets colder, windows begin to shut, and the heat comes on sewer odors are often noticed. A constant sewer odor smell can indicate a break in a waste pipe, a break in a vent, a bad toilet seal or many other plumbing issues. Residential Leak Detection

American Leak Detection is the “Original Leak Detection Specialist” operating since 1974. The Cincinnati/Dayton office started operations in 1996. Our office provides leak detection on virtually any piping system contained in a home.

On the water supply system, we can find leaks on the water service line, and hot and cold supply lines inside the home under the slab. We can also find leaks on irrigation lines and leaks on private gas supply lines.

On the drain, waste and vent system we provide sewer video inspections for sewer and downspout systems. We locate the problem: break, obstruction, root intrusion or a belly in the line causing slow draining.
