Customer Testimonials

Dear American Leak Detection: I had the pleasure of having Danny work on the spa for an estate in PGA Village that I maintain. His persistence, caring, and knowledge exemplified true professionalism. The attention provided by Danny is why I continue to use the service your company provides and continue to refer you to other building maintenance contractors and residents alike. Thank you.

- Donald C.

Dear Karen: Please excuse my lateness in answering your June 29th letter. I hope expect and demand that you are awarded the customer service award. Your excellent crew did a super job on my pool. Thank you! I discovered another American Leak Detection postcard so I filled it in and praised your terrific service again. One of the questions was if I could suggest any ideas on how to improve your service. My answer is IMPOSSIBLE. There’s no way to improve such excellent service.

- Hans B.

Dan was very professional and he made a horrible time more tolerable. He worked very efficiently and found the leak. We are happy with the exceptional job and service.

- Jim T.

Fabulous, you guys are ALL super. You saved me a lot of money. My plumber quoted me big bucks to dig up the front of my property and you found the leak in the back.

- Paula M.

You guys are the best! I can tell because Danny was our technician in 2006 and we just recently had him back for a different problem. It’s hard to keep good people unless you’re the best.

- Cheryl N.

Your office was very sympathetic and got a service person to my home very quickly. Ken was extremely professional and kept me informed throughout the entire process. We so appreciate your care and concern not to cause us a tremendous mess and expense.

- Janis B.

WOW!!!! I didn't think service like this existed anymore. From my first call to your office ( sorry I did not write down her name) when the lady explaned very clearly what your service intailed and the procedures that would be used and her promising to call me back when she contacted a tech for an appointment, which she did in about two minutes, and sending Mr Dan Witkoski to our home almost within the hour. To Dan's very professional and efficent testing and diagnosise of our leak.

I am in the leak detecting business myself (underground tanks at gas stations) and I admired his knowledge of his trade. We could hear the leak very clearly in our master bathroom but he determined that it was under the floor in the kitchen 30 feet away and under a 3 inch cement poured slab. I pulled out the dishwasher so he could test further and He marked the area with a one foot square of blue masking tape and said the leak sounds like it's there. We asked him for an estimate of the cost of repairs and after determining that his “Jack Hammer” would not fit in the area suggested a plumber to call. I am one so I rented a smaller hammer and put a hole in the slab right in the middle of his marked area and found the leak about two feet down and 6" to the left of the center of his square.

Absolutly remarkable! Calling you people was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Thank you, Dennis

Dear Mr. Rennick,

I do not often write, but when I do you can assume that I have a good reason to do so. Last week and the week prior, I had the opportunity to use your company's services for the first time. I had had no prior pool problems, so my knowledge of pool repair companies was limited. Because I did have a bad leak, I found your company's name in our yellow pages and decided to give you a try.

To get to the point, I found your company to be most efficient. From Karen Peterson, who answered my call, and set up the appointment, to Ken, who was the technical person and repairman. Ken was there on time, found the leak, repaired it and stayed within the estimate that was provided on the front end. What was unusual in today's world as well, was that Ken was very articulate, knowledgeable, as well as a pleasure to deal with from the customer's point of view. Even my wife commented on how nice he was.

I thank you for a job well done.

Sincerely,

James

Mr. Peterson,

I want to express my appreciation to you for the service rendered at my home this week.

I had a serious problem with a broken hot water line located below my shower floor.

Luckily my plumber dug under the cement slab from the outside of the house and minimized the damage to get to this.

I am impressed by the exactness of your service in locating this leak.

The technician you sent to my house did a great job. Many thanks.

Dennis

Dear Sirs:

When I discovered a very large leak in our Main Pool at our country club, I was faced with a very difficult situation. I was in the middle of the busiest month I had ever experienced at the club and the best solution I had been offered was to close the pool for 48 hours just to find the leak. That's when I contacted Bill Peterson at American Leak Detection.

Mr. Peterson went out of his way to cause little or no aggravation to the members of the club and worked with me step-by-step to solve our problem.

After closing our pool for only four hours, he not only found the leak but repaired it as well. All at a price close to some of the quotes I had received from other companies to simply locate the leak. I have figured that the repair will pay for itself within four months considering the water saved and all the chemicals and gas used to treat and heat the fresh water.

I am reassured in knowing that if any leak problems should develop in the future that Bill Peterson and American Leak Detection are just a phone call away.

Sincerely,

Brian

This is the second time we have had to use ALD. The technicians are very professional and caring. Service is always prompt.

Sally

Thank you for detecting the leak at my house in an expeditious manner. I appreciate the fact that you were able to schedule my appointment on Saturday, a convenient day for me. The plumber came on Sunday and found the leak exactly where you say it was. It is now repaired and my anxiety level has returned to zero.

Thank you,

Mauvalin

Description of Work: We have a gunite pool that was loosing water . They charged $250.00 to send a diver in to examine our entire pool for leaks. They found we had a skimmer line leak that was under our Kool-Deck around our pool. The repair site was jackhammered and the rubble was removed. A hole was excavated to the leak which revealed a cracked 2" 90 degree elbow. The broken plumbing was replaced with new pippe and fittings. The plumbing was retested to insure there were no additional leaks. No additional leks were detected. The hole was then backfilled and compacted. We then had an option to have them 1.) concrete to below grade and have someone else replace the Kool-Deck which would not be covered by the cost of the repair or 2.) concrete to grade which was included in the cost of the repair cost of $700.00 (they also made some marks on the concrete surface or it looked similar in texture to the Kool-Deck)

They were very professional, showed up on time for the estimate and repair. They did not charge any additional fee's even after discovered the line was encased in concrete after they excavated the hole. They finished the repair in the time they estimated it would take and left our property as neat and clean as it was before they arrived. The only thing we had to do was paint the concrete after it dried to match the color we had painted our Kool Deck.

Member Comments: We were very pleased with every aspect of our experience from the office staff to completion of our repair. We would definitely use them again!
