The recent work of American Leak Detection in locating and repairing a leak in our main water service line was truly outstanding. In this time when expectations are generally low for any type of service, I felt it appropriate to commend your company for a job exceedingly well done.

Of particular note was the performance of your representative, Peter Tousignant. Peter arrived promptly at the appointed time. After a visual survey of the house and surrounding area, he set to work with detection equipment and promptly identified the location of the leak in the main service line, under our concrete driveway. On removing a one-foot square of concrete and underlying dirt to expose the pipe, I could not believe Peter’s accuracy, the leak was in the middle of the square! Peter applied a repair pipe, tested the integrity of the line and system, and backfilled to the underside of the existing concrete. This was done on Friday and he returned on Monday, again promptly at the appointed time, and completed the job by filling the hole with concrete.

Throughout the job Peter was personable, kept us informed, and went about his business in a highly professional manner. I consider you lucky to have and individual of his caliber and ability with your firm.

The prompt repair of the water line allowed us to have a carefree Super Bowl weekend. We very much appreciated the outstanding work performed by Peter and your firm. This is a short note to thank you for the great job you did on finding the excessive water leak at St. Mary’s Church in Vacaville.

Your technician pinpointed the exact location and also indicated that he thought there were two water lines in the same location. This was perfectly true. The topmost line was a feed to our front lawn sprinkler system. It was at a depth of 18 inches. After we excavated and found it to be without leaks, we went down another 20 inches and found the culprit! It was the original water line (3/4 inch) to whatever was on the property before the church was built in 1954. For some reason it had never been eliminated. There were two 1/8 inch holes in it!

Words cannot express our gratitude for your help in this project. You not only will be mentioned at Mass for helping cut our water bill but at any time that we can promote use of your services.

A special thanks to T for her assistance in the matter. She was most helpful on the phone and even made a special call back to tell us to turn the water off at night to save usage.

I contacted your office and spoke to a very knowledgeable and helpful woman named T___. I explained a situation we had going on at our residence and after asking and answering a few questions, I decided to have your company come to my home and detect a major leak that was literally driving my husband crazy trying to locate. One day later, J and D came to our home and after scouring the whole property, locate the area in which they felt the leak was located, which happened to be beneath our concrete pool decking. The area was marked by J and he told me that the leak should be about three feet below the concrete. The following Friday, my husband cut the concrete where it had been marked and the leak was found exactly where we were told it would be. He was able to repair the broken pipe at a very minimal cost. I’m not kidding when I say that it saved his sanity and mine!! Needless to say, both my husband and I were impressed with the accuracy of the inspection and with the result.

I just wanted to write to tell you that we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your company to anyone who had a problem. Your company performed their services professionally and very confidently. As far as your technicians J and D were concerned, what more can I say that they were awesome and are a class act.

ALD first came out to do an initial detection, as the water main appeared to be leaking (we'd had water continuing to appear in the front yard). They detected the leak and provided an estimate as to how much it would cost to repair the leak. The gentleman appeared as scheduled and was very friendly and helpful.
