Vern McCollough is the owner of American Leak Detection serving Eastern Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. He established the Eastern Oklahoma franchise in 1995 and has since expanded operations to include the Kansas and Missouri territories, building one of the region’s most trusted leak detection companies.

Born in Hobbs, New Mexico, Vern proudly served in the United States Navy before earning his degree from Oklahoma State University. Following graduation, he worked as an engineer in California, where he also began raising his family.

Driven by a desire to create a better balance between his professional and family life, Vern purchased the American Leak Detection franchise in Eastern Oklahoma. Through his leadership, dedication to customer service, and commitment to technical excellence, the business has grown steadily over the years while maintaining its family-owned values.

Today, Vern remains actively involved in the company alongside four of his six children who work within the organization. He is also the proud grandfather of eleven grandchildren. His commitment to family, integrity, and exceptional service continues to shape the culture and success of American Leak Detection throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri.

Zane McCollough has been a dedicated memberof the American Leak Detection team since 2017. Beginning his career as a helper, he quickly advanced into a technician role, demonstrating a strong work ethic, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence. After earning his Oklahoma Plumbing Contractor License, Zane transitioned into leadership as General Manager and later advanced to chief Operating Officer.

Throughout his career, Zane has remained focused on one core mission: delivering the best customer experience in the industry. His passion for serving customers, supporting team member, and continuously improving operations reflects the values that are at the heart of American Leak Detection.

Trace McCollough serves as the Marketing and Fleet Manager for American Leak Detection of Eastern Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. Since joining the company in 2021, he has been instrumental in strengthening the company’s brand presence, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and overseeing fleet operations to ensure the organization continues to operate efficiently and effectively.

A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Trace brings a well-rounded perspective to his role. In addition to leading marketing efforts, he has spent time working alongside technicians in the field, gaining valuable firsthand knowledge of the company’s services, operational processes, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and their pets, staying active through basketball, practicing the art of juggling, and following the world of Formula 1 racing.

Zoe McCollough serves as the Human Resources Manager for American Leak Detection of Eastern Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri, overseeing employee relations, talent development, benefits administration, and day-to-day human resources operations.

Since joining the company in 2017, she has worked in nearly every area of the business throughout her career, Zoe brings a unique perspective and deep understanding of the company’s operations. Her hands-on experience across multiple departments allows her to effectively support team members at every level and contribute to the continued growth and success of the organization.

Zoe is passionate about developing strong teams, creating a positive employee experience, and ensuring the company’s family-oriented values remain at the heart of its culture. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and two dogs, traveling, and pursuing her passion for photography. She is also deeply committed to serving her community and actively supports several nonprofit organizations, including the Oklahoma Parkinson’s Alliance, Tulsa Girls Home, Emerge Global, the Oklahoma Blood Institute, and the Tulsa Day Center.

Robert Spurgin serves as the St. Louis Regional Field Manager for American Leak Detection and has been a valued member of the team since 2012. With more than a decade of experience in the leak detection industry, Robert has developed extensive technical expertise and a deep understanding of the specialized services that American Leak Detection provides.

In his leadership role, Robert oversees field operations throughout the St. Louis region, ensuring that customers receive the highest level of service, professionalism, and accuracy. His commitment to excellence, problem-solving abilities, and industry knowledge have made him an invaluable resource for both customers and team members alike.

Outside of work, Robert is a proud father of five children and grandfather to many grandchildren. He is also deeply committed to giving back to his community and actively supports organizations such as the Parkinson's Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and local food banks. Robert's dedication to serving others—both professionally and personally—reflects the values of leadership, integrity, and compassion that he brings to American Leak Detection every day.

Chris Davis serves as the CEO and CFO of American Leak Detection, bringing more than 45 years of experience in business management, finance, and leadership. He attended UCT–Tulsa and Langston University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance. Chris is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

Throughout his distinguished career, Chris has held numerous leadership roles with extensive responsibilities in business management, financial analysis, operational reporting, and strategic planning. His depth of knowledge and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in guiding organizations toward long-term growth and success.

Outside of work, Chris has been happily married for 46 years and is the proud father of two daughters. He enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with family. He is also passionate about giving back to the community and proudly supports John 3:16 Mission, reflecting his commitment to serving others both professionally and personally.

Linda Tate serves as the Finance Manager and Controller for American Leak Detection of Eastern Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. With extensive experience in financial management, accounting, and business operations, she plays a vital role in overseeing the company’s financial health and supporting its continued growth.

Linda holds degrees from DeVry University and the Keller Graduate School of Management, providing a strong educational foundation for her leadership in finance. Prior to her professional career, she proudly served in the United States Army for six years, including a deployment to Kuwait, where she met her husband.

Outside of work, Linda enjoys spending time with her family and caring for her chickens and dogs. She is also deeply committed to serving her community through volunteer work with her local church and a variety of charitable organizations. Her passion for helping others reflects the same values of service and dedication that she brings to American Leak Detection every day.

– Toby Sewell serves as a Leak Detection and Pool Specialist at American Leak Detection and has been with the company since 2024. He brings a strong background in the pool industry, along with hands-on experience that supports his ability to effectively diagnose and resolve a wide range of leak detection and pool-related issues.

He is married and the proud father of one daughter, and also shares his home with two dogs. Outside of work, Toby enjoys fishing and hunting, and takes pride in his role within the company. He is actively involved with the Catholic Church and the St. Vincent de Paul Society, reflecting his commitment to faith and community service.
