Leak Detection in Conyers, GA

Non-Invasive Plumbing Leak Detection for Conyers & Rockdale County

American Leak Detection brings dedicated, precision leak detection to homes and businesses in Conyers, GA and throughout Rockdale County. We don’t offer leak detection as one service among many. It’s all we do. As The Original Leak Specialist™, we locate leaks in pressurized plumbing, slab lines, walls, and underground systems without tearing up your property. That commitment has a name: Leak Detection Without Destruction™.

The national company behind this location has spent over 50 years developing proprietary detection technology because no off-the-shelf equipment could find hidden leaks without causing damage. That investment in technology and training is what arrives at your door in Conyers.

If you’ve noticed an unexplained spike in your Rockdale Water Resources bill, warm spots on your floor, or the sound of running water with nothing turned on, call us at (866) 701-5306 or request a service visit online. We can locate the problem before any repair work begins.

Leak Detection Services for Conyers Homes & Businesses

Our detection work covers the full range of leaks that affect residential and commercial properties: pressurized supply lines, slab lines running beneath concrete foundations, leaks inside walls, and underground pipe systems. When we locate a leak, we pinpoint it precisely so that only the necessary access point needs to be opened. No speculative cutting through flooring. No wide swaths of landscaping removed on a guess.

Drain line failures deserve particular attention. These leaks can go unnoticed for months until sewage intrusion or unexplained odors signal a problem underground. Drain leak detection is a distinct part of what we do, and it’s the kind of work where accurate location before any excavation matters most.

Conyers presents a real range of property profiles. Older structures in the Olde Town area may contain pipe materials prone to corrosion or joint failure. Newer suburban developments face their own wear cycles as plumbing materials age and soils shift. Both benefit from accurate pre-repair leak location rather than exploratory work that damages property to find what we can locate without touching it.

Why Choose American Leak Detection Over a General Plumber

A general plumber can repair a leak once they find it. Finding it is a different skill set. We built our own proprietary detection technology because nothing available on the market could locate leaks without destruction. Our technicians go through a rigorous training program, and we continuously research and develop new methods to stay at the leading edge of detection accuracy. Their only focus is finding leaks precisely and efficiently.

Our “Know Before You Go” pricing approach means you receive honest, upfront pricing before we begin. No surprises. Our technicians arrive on time, complete work within the agreed time frame, and leave your premises clean.

Why Conyers & Rockdale County Properties Face Real Leak Risk

North Georgia’s red clay soil undergoes significant volumetric change between wet and dry seasons. It expands when saturated by seasonal rainfall and contracts sharply during summer dry spells. For pipes buried beneath Conyers slabs and yards, that cyclical ground movement places stress on rigid or older pipe materials, which can crack or pull apart at fittings over time. Slab leaks are a known risk in this environment.

Rockdale Water Resources is the sole water and sewer provider for Rockdale County. When a hidden leak is active in your supply line, that meter keeps running. An unexplained increase on your bill is often the first signal something is wrong underground or beneath your foundation, well before any visible damage appears.

"They came in, investigated with smoke, and fixed the problem. For the first time in two months, my house doesn't smell like a restaurant toilet."
“I had an awful rotten egg smell as soon as I bought our house. After calling two plumbers (who charged me a fee to tell me nothing was wrong), the Gas Company (no gas leak), and the Public Works Department, I finally called American Leak Detection. They came in, investigated with smoke, and fixed the problem. For the first time in two months, my house doesn't smell like a restaurant toilet. Highly recommend them!”
    - Sandi T.
"I can't say enough good things about their service!"
“I can't say enough good things about their service! We had a slab leak that flooded the master bedroom and they came as quickly as they could and then rearranged their work schedule so the repair could be made and we could once again have water turned on. The workmen were professional and efficient. I hope I never have to use that kind of service again but if so, they are he best.”
    - Carolyn R.
"After 30 years in this house, we have had many service people come to do work. No one has ever delivered better than Daniel."
“Tree roots had cracked my filter pipes and I was losing water badly. I was referred to American Leak Detection and set up an appointment. Daniel came out and did his best to diagnose the problem. He got very strange results and it was hard to determine the exact pipe(s) that were cracked but since I'd had a similar repair done 6 years ago and we could see evidence of the tree root damage from above, I felt confident we knew were the issue was and I contracted for the work. I was pleasantly surprised to see Daniel return to perform the work. I arranged to be home that day so I could see what he found. I supposed I hovered, taking pictures of the process, asking questions as he went along. He never got annoyed and answered every question with a smile. I don't think i ever saw anyone work harder. It was obvious from that start he had a lot of experience and knew what he was doing. Digging out the area had to be done mostly by hand which he did efficiently without complaints. He found multiple pipes cracked which explained the odd results during diagnosis. The job took longer than expected because it was difficult work and he ran out of daylight but on the job until he it wasn't possible anymore that day. Even though he was fully booked for the following day, his company rearranged his schedule so he could return the following afternoon. I returned home early from work and was able to see him complete the job. He even patched the deck with new concrete like an artisan, taking every care to make it as smooth and neat as possible. After 30 years in this house, we have had many service people come to do work. No one has ever delivered better than Daniel. He was competent, diligent, and pleasant. The cost wasn't cheap but it was fair. I don't mind at all paying for quality service.”
