Pool Leak Repair in Round Rock, TX
Non-Invasive Pool Leak Detection for Round Rock, Backed by 40+ Years of Experience
American Leak Detection brings more than 40 years of proven methodology to Round Rock pool owners. Our guiding principle, Leak Detection Without Destruction™, means we locate the source of your pool’s water loss using advanced technology before a single shovel breaks ground. We serve residential and commercial properties throughout Round Rock and the wider Williamson County area, covering swimming pools, spas, hot tubs, and decorative fountains.
Central Texas heat accelerates evaporation, and the expansive clay soil common east of I-35 shifts with every drought-and-rain cycle. That movement stresses pool shells and buried plumbing in ways that aren’t always visible from the surface. For Williamson County residents watching water costs during dry stretches, finding and addressing a pool leak promptly is both a financial and a practical priority.
If your pool is losing water faster than the season explains, our team is ready to help. Call (866) 701-5306 to schedule pool leak repair service in Round Rock.
What to Expect When You Call Us
As the Original Leak Detection Specialists™, our technicians complete a rigorous training program that goes well beyond general plumbing or pool service. That training is backed by proprietary techniques refined over four decades, giving us the ability to isolate failure points that less-specialized inspection methods routinely miss.
Before any work begins, we walk you through our Know Before You Go approach: upfront, transparent pricing reviewed with you in full, no hidden fees. Our technicians arrive on schedule, treat your property with care, and leave the site clean. We’re also pre-approved with top insurers, which can mean smoother claims handling if your repair qualifies for coverage.
Pool Leak Repair Services We Provide in Round Rock
Our detection and repair scope covers the full pool system across all common construction types:
- Pool types: Concrete, vinyl liner, and fiberglass shells
- Water features: In-ground pools, attached and standalone spas, hot tubs, and decorative fountains
- System components: Skimmers, main drains, tile lines, pool light niches, return fittings, and underground plumbing
- Property types: Residential homes and commercial properties throughout Round Rock and Williamson County
We pinpoint the failure before recommending any repair, so you’re not paying to cut into a deck or dig up plumbing based on a guess.
Round Rock’s Soil & Why It Matters for Your Pool
Round Rock straddles the Balcones Escarpment, a geologic boundary that separates the flat blackland prairie to the east from rockier, hillier terrain to the west. The blackland clay east of I-35 swells during wet periods and contracts sharply during drought. That cycle places continuous stress on pool shells, skimmer housings, and the PVC plumbing buried beneath your deck.
A significant portion of Round Rock’s pool inventory was built between the 1990s and 2010s, putting many shells and underground plumbing joints in the age range where leaks become more common. Our team accounts for these local soil and climate conditions during inspections, adapting our approach based on whether the pool sits on expansive clay or the rockier substrate common in west Round Rock neighborhoods.

“I had an awful rotten egg smell as soon as I bought our house. After calling two plumbers (who charged me a fee to tell me nothing was wrong), the Gas Company (no gas leak), and the Public Works Department, I finally called American Leak Detection. They came in, investigated with smoke, and fixed the problem. For the first time in two months, my house doesn't smell like a restaurant toilet. Highly recommend them!”- Sandi T.

“I can't say enough good things about their service! We had a slab leak that flooded the master bedroom and they came as quickly as they could and then rearranged their work schedule so the repair could be made and we could once again have water turned on. The workmen were professional and efficient. I hope I never have to use that kind of service again but if so, they are he best.”- Carolyn R.

“Tree roots had cracked my filter pipes and I was losing water badly. I was referred to American Leak Detection and set up an appointment. Daniel came out and did his best to diagnose the problem. He got very strange results and it was hard to determine the exact pipe(s) that were cracked but since I'd had a similar repair done 6 years ago and we could see evidence of the tree root damage from above, I felt confident we knew were the issue was and I contracted for the work. I was pleasantly surprised to see Daniel return to perform the work. I arranged to be home that day so I could see what he found. I supposed I hovered, taking pictures of the process, asking questions as he went along. He never got annoyed and answered every question with a smile. I don't think i ever saw anyone work harder. It was obvious from that start he had a lot of experience and knew what he was doing. Digging out the area had to be done mostly by hand which he did efficiently without complaints. He found multiple pipes cracked which explained the odd results during diagnosis. The job took longer than expected because it was difficult work and he ran out of daylight but on the job until he it wasn't possible anymore that day. Even though he was fully booked for the following day, his company rearranged his schedule so he could return the following afternoon. I returned home early from work and was able to see him complete the job. He even patched the deck with new concrete like an artisan, taking every care to make it as smooth and neat as possible. After 30 years in this house, we have had many service people come to do work. No one has ever delivered better than Daniel. He was competent, diligent, and pleasant. The cost wasn't cheap but it was fair. I don't mind at all paying for quality service.”- String R.
