John Bockenstette
Field Supervisor
Joined ALD in 2003
John joined the American Leak Detection of Cincinnati in 2003. Before coming to American Leak Detection, John was a heating and air conditioning supervisor and boiler specialist for a property management company. He grew up in Norwood and currently resides in the Greater Cincinnati area. John enjoys leak detection because he is very mechanical and likes to use those skills to solve problems. John is a certified diver and one time had to rescue a child's doll from a large commercial pool's water holding tank. He has been trained on the most sophisticated leak detection equipment and has passed the American Leak Detection Proprietary Methods and Equipment Training. John's interests are camping, flying/building model airplanes and helicopters, and tending to his saltwater fish tank.
Monica Hartz

Before coming to American Leak Detection, Monica worked in healthcare as well as Interpreting for the Deaf in the community. She grew up in Dayton and currently resides in Franklin with her husband of 13 years and her two daughters. Monica's hobbies include freelance photography, exercising and reading.
Steve Berry
Leak Specialist
Joined ALD in 2012
Steve joined the American Leak Detection of Cincinnati in 2012. Before coming to American Leak Detection, Steve was a lead plumber for a local plumbing company. He grew up in Oregon,Ohio and currently resides in the Greater Cincinnati area. Steve enjoys leak detection for the excitement of the chase and locating the leak. Steve's interests are fishing and sports and spending time with his two children.
Cory Havens
Leak Specialist
Joined ALD in 2014
Cory first joined the team working part-time in the summers, racking up significant experience in a couple years. Before becoming a leak detection specialist, Cory was a lifeguard, worked at Menards, and Dicks Sporting goods. He enjoys all of the aspects of leak detection especially when diving swimming pools on a hot summer day. Outside of work he likes to play softball and enjoys watching all sports. Cory likes going outdoors for camping and other activities.
